What's the smallest sized nugget an MXT can pick up?

Hi everyone. I'm afraid I'm responsible for the crappy vid. One of my boxers made off with my practice target and I told the wife not to pick up any poo for a couple days in the hope of getting it back.
My nickname is Sport, as it has been for ages. My real name is keith. I swing an MXT as often as i can. My best friend in the world (aside from my brother) is Rocky a 5 year old male boxer. I have 4 boxers (all seen in the vid) Rocky, Layla, Butterbean & Dempsey. Rocky and Layla are sire and dam. Butterbean and Dempsey are their pups and my grandkids lol.

Now for MXT performance I'm quite pleased. Hearing the subtle tone changes are critical. I dig soft targets in hot soil (I'm blessed with exceptional hearing but blind as a bat) and find #8 bird shot down about 4-6" all the time. If you learn your sounds, MXT is a great shooter and all purpose machine.

I'd love to hear more about mods for the MXT. More depth? -sport

Welcome to the forum Sport, Nancy and I thought your "crappy" video was a riot. Since we don't nugget hunt, we were more interested in your beautiful boxers. Two boxers are all we can handle but you must have twice as much fun as we do with ours.

If you have other nugget videos, please share, we have quite a few nugget hunters and "wanabe's" on this forum and if I lived in gold country, I would be right out there with you.

Welcome aboard Sport! I have to say how much I loved watching your "'crappy" video. Honestly, I thought it was a great entertaining video. As soon as I saw your beautiful Boxers, it had my full attention. As Larry stated, we have two wonderful "kids". Our General (3 yrs old) has gone detecting with us whenever we go and little Maggie (7 months) has yet to join us in a hunt, but will this Spring. What a joy! Here's a pic of the General and Larry: The Boys

We've got a lot of information on here and a LOT of wonderful people and they know the MXT. It's great to have you with our forum. Welcome Keith.

HH,
Nancy

Hi Keith....sorry I had to post that video as it made me laugh my azz off! I detect on the San Gabriel river area and also swing an MXT along with a gold bug...If you are in this area give me a PM and I can show you a few spots and this summer I plan on hitting a few new spots around some old gold mines we know of......Not everyone can say they found gold in there back yard.

Hi sport, welcome. I liked your vid, but please save the panning for other occasion

have nice hunts and have good times with your boxers, they are good fellows

H i Sport. My wife and I really enjoyed your "crappy video". We also have a boxer. His name is Baxter. My dog is the neighborhood thief. Usually come springtime I'll find extra snow shovels around the yard along with my next door neighbors her slippers that she wears out to her hot tub. They're great dogs but full of mischief. keep the videos rolling 'cause some of us are under at least 2-3' of snow and that's what keeps me sane for the winter. Great job and HH Jack
