Whats the nicest coin you've scratched?

Oneguy, yeah all the schools and parks seem to have been searched pretty thoroughly over the years. There are probably some goodies left, but might be masked by trash ? I think the most promising sites might be the private yards if one doesn't mind asking permission. Not my cup of tea, but maybe it is time to change strategy ?
 
Believe it was the Open 3 1873 with no Arrows variety 1/2 dollar was my biggest blunder, Wasn't from scratching it while being dug it was from cleaning due to the tar. At the time way back when I first started metal detecting, Found this at an old vintage 1880-90's home near the road were the road meets the portion of yard, didn't know how valuable it was so out came the scouring pad and fine instruments used for wooden ship modeling.

Wouldn't have mattered, Damaged or not would still keep it or would have given it away to owner regardless the value if found on someone's property.
