Whats the best water detector?

Sorry, Read your profile - guess the blue beast is the Quattro MP Minelab

Mine's a six seater - 48 volt with a thousand watt system.
We live in a gated community - Where golf carts are our other means of transportation.
21 parks in here and 10 are on the water.

I'll post my finds in this forum from now on
Got a better response from you guys!!
Thanks again for all the help.

If you are finding that much I would buy a minlab Explorer and a beach hunter ID. You have more than enough to pay for them both already.

Hi Bruce: I had a Minelab Excal in San Diego. I hunted the beaches. I didn't like the Minelab. Too many iffy signals, and the visual display was next to worthless. I have been reading great reviews on the Tesoro Tiger Shark. I'm reading that the company really stands behind thier products, too. I'm thinking of trying the Tesoro Tiger Shark next. It's supposed to be great at finding small gold and silver-just the things we are searching for! Best wishes, and let us know what you finally decided to go with.
