Isn't the 1868 a better date, too? (No, wait... that is 1869, isn't it.) That coin kept remarkably well in the ground!
 
1672 Spanish Reale. Does it matter that I found it in a bezel and it was on somebodys neck at one time? I am guessing that it came off a shipwreck somewhere and was given to a husband or wife as a gift. Found it in lake St. Clair in about 5' of water.
