What to tell her?

I hate when I do that. If it were me just to be on the safe side I would sleep on my stomache for a while.

Well, without going into the most intimate details of our romantic relationship I must add that there is one more thing making my confession right now a bit difficult.

It is that I want to buy one more. Third one. DetectorPro Wader. For use on rainy days and in fresh water (rivers, lakes). From reading the Forum I realized that neither MXT (not water proof) nor PI PRO (lack of discrimination) are not good for this task.

And if I confess about the first two now I will immediately lose not only undisputed feminine love but also access to our family emergency savings and will never ever will be able to buy Wader!

So I think that the end result for me will be the same either with two or with three.

I am waiting for a good sale at Kellyco. I already have $25 gift card from them. We had some issues when they shipped me PI PRO unweighted and to shut me up they sent me $25 gift card.

"So I am happy with my deal with Kellyco and can recommend them. They are good. "

If they send me another $25 I will type this in CAPITAL LETTERS. And for $40 - in big letters and in BOLD

This is my situation, it is not easy and complicated I know. And I truly appreciate all those respected Thers who share their insight and extend their sympathy!!

I was told that Kellyco has sales on DetectorPro end of summer. Is it true?

Oh, you clever dog you.. If in trouble might as well go all the way. I hope you will not spend too many years on the couch...:nopity:...Z

you are getting the "Third" detector, then my man..You are on your own.....And I would say the (Wife) isn't much of an issue...If you buy the third detector, And if you.... live..... enjoy..If you get "Killed".... You pushed it too far !!! Wish you lots of Luck..Lots of great finds...

Been married 42 years. Own 12 metal detectrors. Not all top of the line. Been detecting 30 years. I would say stick with one detector until you really learn it. Trying to learn 3 detectors at the same time is too hard. Keep the MXT and really learn it. I have hidden a few things from my wife. Not good for the relationship. My wife has wanted a swimming pool since we were married. 3 years ago we got one.Now she says nothing about what I buy......Jack

When I get a new machine I tell my husband I am getting it. I don't ask him if I can have it. I wouldn't buy it if we couldn't afford it and he knows how much I love this hobby and If I am finding stuff to help pay for the machine who cares. I don't know why so many men worry about what their wives will think. If you want the machine just buy it. If she can't take it maybe you shouldn't be together in the first place:)

It is easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. At least this way you got what you wanted

JUST SEND HER A LINK TO THIS POST!!!! Then she can spend hours reading everyone's advice. By that time, she'll be too tired to care. And she will know everything, without you saying a word. Not bad ha?

He may have bought that Third detector Jim...............and it sounded like two were more than she would tolerate.

Maybe we should have a memorial service for Micro.:nopity:

Wow..a doghouse with no Internet connection...that would be like a world with no lost metal relics to be discovered.
Coinnut...yer a genius. Let her read all this advice and make up her own mind how to react.
Curious isn't it..how many people lurk in the MD forums and rarely ever post, but ask for marital advice and all the experts emerge from the shadows.
Great thread!
