Now that's funny!

You should be able to tell the difference between silver and stainless by look and the way the metal tarnishes/oxidizes. Also, I would imagine there would be a stamp on the underside of the handle that says silver or whatever it is. I hope they are silver. I've found lots of spoons, forks, and knives over the years and it's always a great feeling to see that it's silver. Oh yeah, stainless usually id's as nickel and silver id's as half or dollar.:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

A silver spoon looks really shiny compared to a silver plated spoon when cleaned. If silver plated, then it will mostly likely be stated on the back.

Sometimes a a spoon will just have a name on the back, usually the manufacturer. You can look online for the name it will tell you when it was made and if it is silver or silver plated.

If you have a spoon that says "Sterling Silver" then you have a silver spoon and should hang on to it.

Way to go Ranger, hope they are silver. on a ball field, Thats amazing!!

Thye may be the oddest finds I made so far considering they
