what patterns and settings do you guys use on the ctx

I run my "combined2" mode 95% of the time - sometimes switching over to my "doc's coins" pattern which is a 50 tone conductive mode with Andy's Old Coin discrimination pattern - I use to for "sanity checking" sometimes on iffy signals. I will sometimes get fooled by rusty nails that repeat - but usually they are iffy and move around when hit from different directions. Both of the modes I use are available in the resource center.

I'm going to order my CTX in a few weeks and have been trying to do some research on a good program to start with. What kind of discrimination does Gonehunting's program use? I'm looking for a program with minimum disrimination (just iron?). A jewelry/coin program. I don't want to miss out on gold rings. Would Gonehunting's program fit the bill?
