If you do the math. Most Tesoro dealers sell for about 15% off of Manufacturer's Suggested Retail. For the Outlaw package deal, if you subtract the 2 extra coils and lower rods (assuming the new DD 12X10 will be same price as the old concentric one) subtract it from the $649. You get $367 for the detector. Take 15% off and you are getting the new detector in the package for about $311.00. Just barely more than a new Silver uMax. All Brand New and all with a Lifetime Warranty. Seems like a smoking deal on the package to me.

You did the same math that I did, but I was a few dollars lower. The Outlaw is a great deal. The lifetime warranty and customer service can't be beat.

Agreed--if I could get my hands on a nice Eldorado I probably wouldn't bother with the Outlaw. The Eldorado is probably the best detector that Tesoro ever made.

No it's the second best detector that Tesoro ever made.

I've owned two Eldorado (uMax style) detectors and sold both of them.

The Eldorado is a great detector, BUT I like my Bandido II uMax much better. It's not for sale.
