What ever happened to Nathan Jaeger Tesoro Electronics

Not a peep or post since his first posting day here March 7.
Has he been muzzeled? Did he get bit by a snake in the desert and now his bones are drying out somewhere?

I'll tell you what probably happened and this is not to criticize anyone. These things just happen because we are human. OK,... the guy is nice enough to introduce himself and offer some help. Bam !!! Right away a huge amount of emails come in . All the way from goofy stuff to serious questions. Then he started to get some critical comments about Tesoro. I really can't blame him for disappearing. I knew it was too good to be true. Just my thoughts.

Way back in June, Nathan Jaeger signed off, turning over Forum "Duties" to TesoroDude. TesoroDude made one post stating: "Nathan is alive and well doing his thing at Tesoro. I monitor the forums and add my comments when I feel they are useful or helpful. I also handle the technical support at Tesoro and can be reached at tesorosupport@hotmail.com". I can't believe that he hasn't seen anything where he can be "useful or helpful" in the last five months.

Makes me wonder why Tesoro doesn't want to participate anymore, or if all is well there.

Although I haven't posted before, I've studied this forum closely for over a year. I am now at a point where I am considering the purchase of many (>10) detectors for a project. I like have a strong preference for the Tesoro Brand. However, a decent percentage of that preference is their lifetime guarantee. Therefor, I have interest in the future viability of the company. I know that it has been questioned by some here in the past. My "radar" is piqued by the recent lack of company involvement in this forum.

I recently had a lengthy conversations with Nathan Jaeger, and I was really impressed, he is a straight shooter and standup guy, with an excellent customer rapport. I think Tesoro made a great choice, and are in good hands with Nathan as Chief.

I also think it would be beneficial for Tesoro, to pay for one of the reps to play on the computer on a regular basis. Hopefully the Tesoro Team is busy working on new products for the new year.

Before he left the company, Robert (allcav) made 418 posts while he was here. Small companies like Tesoro can't afford to pay someone to work forums, but a small part of their time can/should be spent on this.

On another note, when Robert (allcav) signed off, he said he knew the "real reason" the Golden went out of production, and offered to tell anyone who PMed him. Someone must have. What did you find out? Why is this such a secret? No information/silence from the company only makes the rumor mill churn.
