What detectors, old and new, had surface blanking?

Not so concerned about the junk targets Elton, as long as they audibly report as a low or mid tone I just mentally tune them out to some extent. It's the first four or so inches of high-toning copper and clad that I would rather not hear. Causes me to waste too much time looking at the meter! :look:

Me too George..When I got that little faint buzz sound .Almost always it was a 6" Silver dime..:happy:
