As some of you know my wife has stage 3 breast cancer and is now half though her chemo treatments she has a very good outlook and been working. So on the days she works I go to the beach after I get off work. Ok summer time with the Deus 2 is a different animal for sure with all the people with cellphones, Bluetooth speakers, the hotel boosters for WiFi....the EMI is bad for the D2 in areas. In Beach sensitive the best I can do is 92/93 Sensitivity salt 6. No it's not just EMI either it's also the ground changes during the summer it's more mineralized. Winter time the numbers were like 95/96 salt 7/8 with not even a hint of a noise or chattering. Yeah I have my audio response at 7 to hear all the targets but yes the chatter is there to. I really don't want to cut down the audio response to 5 because I know I will skip over targets. Just wondering if anyone else is have this issue on there beaches?? I thought about raising the silencer up to 4/5 see if that would cut back on the ground noise. I am hunting beaches not fields or parks so there shouldn't be a disadvantage to hunting a beach with a high silencer. Your thoughts.....

Ive been havent the same problem in beach sensitive, too. Once I get into the wet, wet sand it starts to chatter. I can take for just so long and Im back to regular, quiet, beach mode,
Ive raised the discrim, lowered salt sensitivity, reactivity is 1.5 Silencer is 0. Not sure what next to do.

Calabash has some vids on beach hunting if you’re interested.
Seen them....winter time no issues it's summer time I guess with everyone having a cell phone... WiFi boosters on the hotels cranked up ect...
I will just have to hunt in regular beach program which is not affected. My buddy who using a Equinox can't hunt in Beach 1 because of all the EMI...

prayers for your wife my wife had thyroid cancer a few years ago and prayers go a long way.
I have use my Deus 2 a few times on the beach and still go back to my equinox lol..I believe a lot of the Deus 2 EMI problems are from being all wireless.

I figured out some of the EMI issues watch out what type of ear buds you use with the puck. I got a pair of Sony earbuds made a world of difference!!!
