Well we're back!

We did have a great time. That was one crazy day though. I guess I was going through coffee withdrawls. We didn't take any with us, so a swim in the lake was my "wake-up" each morning. I actually would prefer to do that each day!
God bless,
MM

More pictures can be found in "the rest of the story" if you haven't seen them yet. Too bad about the lake behind your house. Fishing with my Dad are some of the best memories I have of him. He passed on 6 years ago, but I think I get my love for fishing from him. He loved the outdoors and moved way up north when he retired. I think he enjoyed that time the best, although it was short.
God bless and I hope you get out fishing with your Dad.

We did have a great time. My younger son and I are already looking forward to our turn to go.
God bless,

He sure was with us. He provided all our needs that week and we had no rain or storms and we were kept safe even through my mishaps. It could've been much worse, but God was watching out for us.
Thanks again and God bless,
MM

We had a great time and the injuries were not that bad (could've been worse).
God blessed us with good weather and no one got seriously hurt. I will be something that Jacob and I will remember for a long time.
God bless,
MM

Sometimes it's those things that we remember the most. On our drive home I asked Jacob what he will remember the most of our trip and he said "Seeing you fall out of the boat!"
I am sure we will laugh about that for a long time to come!
God bless,
MM

Yes that is for sure. One thing we don't know is how much time we all have, so we must make the best of the time we are given.
I know Jacob and I will remember this trip for a long time to come!
God bless,
MM

I know my son remembers the night we spent on the bank of keni lake after the spark quit on my 70 horse and we had to climb a tree to get the cell phone to get out, Help, middle of nowhere to be sure 20mi up a lake in Alaska is middle of nowhere on steroids. We paddled a 18 foot glass boat about 3 mi. and got the cell to work. You cant fix no spark with wood and rocks! We have had several mis adeventures to laugh about!

Those are the things you always remember.
God bless,
MM
