Went out to an older county park this morning for another couple hours. Legend settings as normal for a park, M1 with just a couple minor tweaks for the area. Almost two hours and was absolutely shocked at all the semi deep beavertails. It was starting to get a bit warm so made a wide sweep around the volleyball pit with the intent of heading out and nothing. Been around that a lot of times so just hoping for fresh clad.
Hit a solid repeatable 25 at four bars deep so figured a standard nickel. Nope! Had a D above Monticello on the back, whaaaat?
1945 so minor happy dance in motion. How many times have we been around that pit? Well as the kids say, it is what it is……
