Well it sure looks good, but hey the CTX 3030 is still over 5 Pounds!!!

Aw c'mon---I've been swingin Minelabs for years & their ain't no aches or arthritis yet--I'm 73 yrs. old--that old enuff for ya??----Course, maybe you're talking about arthritis when I'm 90!!-----Like I said, don't buy the thing if your afraid of the weight (or an ache or pain).

strap 5 lbs of potatos to your outstretched arm and see how long you can swing it before ache sets in .you can also look forward to arthritis in old age as many users do from swingin too heavy machines when theyre younger .

I would try the 5lbs of potatoes just to see, but have you seen the price of potatoes these days!!

was just thinking that myself if this thing detects potatoes we are going to make plenty off the CTX

If you can't handle 5 lbs. by all means do not buy one someone might take it away from you. Ditto coop. HH :minelab:

OK, well I'm 53 have arthritis, bursitis and tendonitis and it ain't from swinging an Etrac. The problems go back much further than that. I have to use one of Doc's Swingy Thingy's to run the Etrac for more then 30 minutes but with it I can run all day.

I had the opportunity to swing the CTX 3030 at Kellyco for about ten minutes and it ain't no sack of taters by a long shot. That thing felt way lighter then the Etrac. The balance point was dead on for ease of use. I could swing it for hours without a harness but if I get one I will probably, maybe, use one anyways because I have enough physical problems that I've learned that a little prevention goes a heck of a long ways.

Until you've tried it you really can't make a realistic observation on it. You just don't know how it feels.

If CTX will be so good or better then all the rest FBS I will use it with extension cable, like now all the rest FBS, just interesting what connectors Minelab use?
