Weekend Hunts

A Walker is #1 on coins I'd like to find!! I really love that coin design. Probably the "easiest old coin" to find where I live too. Might find some Indians and newer silver here.

JC, I hope you find your pretty lady for it's a beautiful coin. You never know what you'll find because all of this wonderful land has been here for centuries. Good luck and keep us posted. HH, Nancy

Went a different direction today. I usually hunt relics at old farms but this time I went to an old swimming hole off to the side of and fed by a small river. Lots of pull tabs and junk but I found my second wheat and a clad quarter, newer nickle and a couple zinks. I thought there might be something better but I was talking to the owner of the property and it was washed out in a flood several times over the years, last time in 1996 and not rebuilt.

I have not ever found a coin at the old farms. Doesn't mean I've given up though !!

Nope, you never give up. At least you did get to find your second wheat with many more to come in the future. Thanks for sharing your story and HH, Nancy
