We hit the woods for awhile today....not much to show but Buddy found the BIG One Today :super:

If it weren't for Buddy, Bubba and I would still be huntin' local parks and school yards instead of the fort :D

... next time, you better be packing more than that terrific lunch you fed us.

... I bought em' and use 'em.

When I first bought em, I was preparing to go metal detecting above the polar circle.

The place I bought from, "Honest Uck's Wilderness Outfitters" had a pre-Polar Rattle Snake Season Sale going on. Ya see everything up there is white .... snow, ice, bears, igloos, polar rattle snakes, etc.

If you wear brown or green boots, you are more likely to get struck by the fierce white polar rattler. If ya wear white boots, you might avoid being bit by a polar rattle snake, or being pee'd on by a sled dog. Stealth is the word! Also, white are considered formal wear for the Eskimo Ball. Ask Cooter, he'll tell ya.

Now when I moved to Flori-duh, I found white boots are popular to keep the sun from cooking your feet when doing concrete work or fishing for mullet. Also white boots, with the tops rolled down, are considered formal wear for the annual mulletmens ball. You Bama boys got lots to learn.
Yer friend,

in some areas residents done let their pets out at night for fear that the coyotes will get them.
