Nice job on the case ......I would take the hip mount bag and build a chest harness for it .....You can get harnesses from Military Supply companies to adapt for this sort of thing .... Chest mount it so that it's higher out of the water .....I am going to sew together some bags made from Sunbrella ...It's a waterproof marine material ....I'll keep you posted .....Jim

Took SovZilla to the beach yesterday and hunted the water, wet and dry sand for about 3 hours.

Stayed 100% dry and my only complaints are that the Auvio Wireless Headphones were popping and crackling like it had a bad connection. Will switch to my wired headphones next hunt.

HAVE to get a straight shaft. The S Shaft with no detector on it is very unbalanced and will wear you out fast.

Nothing found of any real value... mostly clad and a spur.. what that was doing on this beach I have no idea.

This mod accomplished exactly what I had hoped for and that was a great water machine on a budget.

Nice I just ordered my plano box and my cable clam..... My GT it's getting cover from water splash soon. I wonder If you can submerge to a feet or 2 of water?
