Was talking with my dealer buddy about the V3 and using it on a salt-water beach... he's suggesting to me.....

to dump the standard 10 inch dd and go with the 6x10 dd instead.. Says this coil is better in a salt-beach enviornment...... I don't really get it tho.. both being DD, why is one perfered over the other???

Anybody finding this be true??

Please tell me what you know.. Mark ( ohio )

The 6X10 might do better than the D2, but quite a few beach hunters like the 950 conical.

It could depend on the minerals in the sand. The 950 seems to be the coil of choice in Florida, Texas, and Myrtle Beach. Rob
