I love the coil wire being on the inside, but. When I change coils I like them more on the outside. Its faster for me and I'm usually changing them on the gate of my pick up out in the field. I am in the misquite a lot and everything including my pants gets hung up... coil in the shaft is better...what do I do? Fortunately, the mod someone posted gives ideas and options. Thanks for that post. I've been wanting to try the X1 as my Pistolprobe and Vibraprobe both react with my xtera and etrac depending where I lay them in relationship to my hole. I've found the Pistolprobe and my Etrac get along best. The X1 with a switch seems like the best way to cure the problem 100%.
