Want to introduce myself

Captjack6

New member
Hi y'all
Just wanted to say hi. My name is Capjack I was active several years ago on this forum but life got in the way. I have not been detecting too much except for off. All my detectors are several years old. I have a Whites XLT w/several coils, a few MineLab Sovereigns, Excalibur, Explorer, 2 Troys X2 and X5. Since I have retired I have more time and I hope to get active this spring.
I had to start again as new member since I could not find any of my old posts.

Welcome to the group @Captjack6

don't be to quick to count your old detectors out that X5 is a good detector still, and the X2 i have heard and read some good things about the X2 also, I also own and use a X5 when I am able to get out, they are still a very capable detector

people are to caught up on these new Cell Phone on a stick detectors as I like to call them, those older detectors are still vary capable of making some good finds.
