Walking Liberty from the beach

Hello All,
This storm has been eroding away the sand and making a great cut at the beach. I’ve been finding old fishing waits and a few pieces of broken 10k class rings. I also found a 1945 walking liberty. Very exciting!

Love the big ka-chink-a-ling. Ive only found one Walker but now two Barber halves. Im doing it backwards…… nice finds!!!

This is my third walking liberty. The first one I found at the base of a tree in Madison WI using my Vibrotector! The next one I found on a Northern California beach called Bolinas. I clean them up with Baking Soda and hot water in aluminum foil. If anyone has a better method please let me know. Thanks

Nice finds Zac I love the beach and more so river hunting I’m truly alone on the river finding some real nice coins in untouched spots.
Though my silver is usually black from the saltwater I just found silver dimes I could not tell what they were until I used a magnifying glass turns out ones a seated the other probably the same
Something about a new area that gives up some great finds nice job!

I line a small bowl with foil, put in some baking soda and the coin, then add hot water.

Yeah, I like to put on a 6mm wetsuit for river hunting and dive down to where the gold collects. Not as many rivers near by where I live.
