Need help to learn how to tune this thing it works good I just can't get it to tune in for me I did get it once and then I lost it if anyone has any ideas for me I sure would appreciate it I'm a newbie I want to take my grandson and have some fun I live close to the Sonora Gold Rush area in California

This is a VLF(very low frequency) all metal mode and TR(transmit/receive) discriminator. Best if using the all metal mode to seek a target and then using TR mode when determining if it's trash or treasure.
