Vision Auido ?????????????

I'm not sure what the problem is with fading in & out, I haven't seen/heard this happen on any machines. We are, however, aware of the stereo/mono issue and are looking into this.

If you have a problem we've never seen and we cannot replicate it, then the only solution may be to send it in so we can see what is going on. I know it's aggravating to buy a new detector and immediately have problems with it, but White's is 100% committed to customer satisfaction and we will make it right.

I too have a volume prob with it fading like a glitch in the modulaion or something. Have changed mod setting ,no help there. Was waiting on the new manual and any other help they may be sending. Yazoo
 
Shot in the dark here. Do you have a Bluetooth cellphone? Bluetooth can be finicky on cellphones and headsets. There may be some interference?

I am having the same problem regarding the wireless fading in and out and sounds from just one earmuff and then both, back and forth. Am hard of hearing in my right ear, so audio is not very smooth. is there an adjustment that can be made for individual volume settings for l and r?
 
Not exactly. If you set the balance all the way over to the left, that will make all audio come out the left ear. But, then you won't have any audio coming out the right. My guess at this point is that you won't have the fading that you are hearing though.
 
Try to turn your balance more to the right until it seems more balanced for you Ron. As for the fading, go to the headphone menu and pick a channel higher up the list and see if that helps any.
Also follow the instructions on the very first sticky post.

AK got some time today to dig into the fading issue. Would you, by chance, be using plug-in headphones that run in mono audio?

Mine too have a fade issue. Worse while using Rat phones but still there using Grey Ghosts plug in type.Is A combo of fading and like VCO with mixed tones. Yazoo
 
Hi Carl no im not using Headphones at all , I dont know if its a problan or the Vision is trying to say something???

If you hear a fading problem using mono headphones, we can explain it. If you hear it with the speaker, we can't explain it. Yet.

I guess I will be calling Whites monday morning about what to do with my detector.As I have stated mine has a sound issue also with the fading and the tones get real fussy sounding as if VCO was trying to over ride the tones.It gets so bad you can not make out the different tones.You trigger it and it goes back to normal for a little bit .The longer it is on the worse it seems to get.Doesnt seem to do it with the detectors speaker, just the the hard line headphones have tryed 3 sets I have and all do it, I have Ratphones ,Grey Ghosts and a set of Depthmaster Superphones. Am sure that they will take care of it,just wasnt wanting to send it back for this is the cool part of summer for me .And a couple of weeks will really put a dent into my hunting time with the V3 for I can not get out as much when it gets hot. Hi Yazoo , My Vision is not as bad as yours, But yes wen I pull the Trigger it gos away 4R a little bit,
And im not using Headphones eather but wen I do use HP it gets worse, I Like to use HI-Pro
I think it is not as bad in Coin/Jewelry ?? Go to one tone instead of VCO , If it gets better go do some Hunting,
N thean send Her off, I dont think Whites well take 2 Weeks but thear kinda Jumping with the New Vision N all,
If I could get my Vision swaped out I would get a New V3 , I could care less about it being the 2ed one off the Line, Good Luck to you Yazoo, Mickfin
