This I believe is the "going from stereo to mono" thing that people talk about. I have this problem and got a new set of headphones and I finally got to take it on a three day hunt and found out it still does it. Its a little aggravating but don't think it hurts anything. Maybe blue tooth just does this? I wish I could find out the answer to this and if there is a fix.

I think the default channel is channel 4. You might first want to see if it is a nice clear channel. When changing the channel, you want the bar to be mostly green compared to the other channels. If changing - reconnect sequence. If you have to, boost the transmit to the headphone a notch or 2 and see if it improves any. Keep in mind that boosting the transmit will pull more from the battery.
For whatever odd reason, mine will do it more when I swing the detector in the left hand instead of the right. Could be my imagination - and I have the headphone on/off button on my right ear. I don't know the headphone receive configuration. Oh, the first recommendation White's gave was to ensure good batteries in the headphones.
I got replacement headphones and don't have near as many problems as I did with the first set.

Turning up the transmit power for the headphones has very little effect on the battery life and not enough to even be concerned about. I usually use mine turned all the up to 7 on the power level. Also when near electrical interference having the power level on a setting of 7 will work better. To low of a setting will increase the chance of the headphones not receiving the signal and a lost of audio can occur, and then if speaker is turned on under monitor battery (single headphones) the audio will come through the speaker.

Hi Tab im not using the Wireless HP , From your right to your left you mite turn off your cell phone, Mic

I am having a sorta issue with the sound on mine too with out head phones. It gets a garbled sound to the the tones and then comes back to normal also I have had times the volume drops way low then back up,this is not the modulation for I have it turned down.Am thinking might be a low bat warning for it apprears to happen after having the bats in for a good bit.I am waiting on the stuff that is to be sent for it maybe there will be a answer there.Hoping that there will be updates that can do things though a computer. All that said this is the great beast that I believe will get better with time.H.H. I have tuned almost every channel there is and I also have used 2 through 7 in the transmit power. Doesn't help anything. With the box for speaker checked or unchecked...doesn't matter, I thought it may be in the electronics itself but it doesn't do it when I use my wired Black widow headphones.
I dont think it has anything to do with how I have my settings. There is another post on this same subject that went nowhere and with no answers to the problem..

You have not seen this, maybe this will help here you go.

I will see what White's has done on my Vision Audio and head phones. I just had it up graded 1.1 and sound of the head phone. The team at white's was so great in OR they are the best. I can

Yes, I sent my whole machine back and received a new one, also new headphones and it has the upgraded 1.1 version. I still get the same problem with the fading in and out. I don't have any problems with corded headphones, just the wireless.

No. I don't think anyone knows. Its something that I don't think some people would even notice. Maybe they all do that? I will just use my corded,...I have a choice. I feel sorry for the people that don't and it bothers them. To me, the sound is the most important thing...its what I concentrate really hard on, listening to the slightest difference. When it does that switching sound, It drives me nuts! I am very happy that Whites gave me a new detector and headphones! It didn't help with the headphones issue but it shows their commitment to customer service. I would never buy anything other than Whites just for their service! But, Just like I am not the type of person to complain in a restaurant about my food being wrong, I will not complain about this. I will just wait and see if a fix comes along and use my corded headphones until then. :detecting:

But Magic mine will do the Auido thing without the HP N if the New one are doing it too ????
I guess a fix will do, Mic
