Impressive - that was crazy deep. We were digging some deep coins last evening - some over 10" but much smaller than your George III in size.

You just had to beat my deepest coin by 1" and post it! Very nice Mark. I really hope to find a coin that deep but the iron mineralization, though not bad, makes the 10" mark tough.
