Any have any opinions on these underwater pinpointers and their differences?

What kind of depth do they get?

Vibra-Quatic 2
Vibra-Probe 580
Vibra-Tector 730

Thanks

Only checked on the VP580. I use it for diving. Like the way it turns on and off and the way it's made makes me pretty sure there won't be any problems standing up to the pressure at depth. No nothing about the other two. jim

I HAVE A VIBRA-730 I LIKE IT FOR SPOTS WHERE YOU REACH IN SMALL SPOTS THAT YOU CAN'T WITH A COIL IN.THE DEPTH IS 2 TO 3 INCHES.FOUND MY FIRST GOLD RING WITH IT IN ABOUT 20 FEET OF WATER.WISH THEY COULD MAKE THEM WITH MORE POWER.I'M HAPPY WITH IT FOR $150 YOU CANT GO WRONG.

I have the Vibra-Probe 580, and I love it. Personal preferences, but I like the vibrate only signaling, the tip only pin pointing, being PI it is not affected by mineral/salt water, automated calibration, auto-off if you forget, it's waterproof, and the single 9 volt battery lasts forever. On coins, it typically gets about two inches of depth in packed soil. I don't have enough experience with salt water beaches to comment with any credibility, and I have not used it underwater. If the features appeal to you, I highly recommend it.

nice info as ive wondered about same.
thanks for sharing

slightly older version, use it every time I go water detecting. I scoop stuff into my sifter and then locate with vibra probe if needed. picks out those algae covered small lead sinkers that you will never find in your scoop. same with post earrings etc. wouldn't go without it.!

I have the vibra tector 730, with the 4 inch coil, it works great in areas you don't want people to know you are detecting. I put it in a nylon bag and everyone thinks I am searching for shells. It will find Gold and coins about 2 to 3 inches deep in sandy bottom rivers. Just fan out your finds or use your hand to dig. HH
