OK this is a huge problem the etrac has cleared as far as i am concerned a 7 acre field i have used the deus down there and there is hardly a peep
i have my sister here from australia so time with the 3030 is limited and the ground is rock solid with the heat we are having at the moment
i have read in many of the topics that in peoples experience the 3030 is no deeper than the etrac but the 3030 is indicating finds many many times showing 10 11 12 inches
i am worried that i just havnet got time to dig all these targets at this rate i will be working in this paddock for the rest of my life
i will await the next rainstorm so i can at least get down there and dig a few of these targets alot are coimg in at 11.39 ish anyone else having this experience and getting these continual deep readings please??????

I would get a chisel if I had to and dig a couple of them deep targets out just to see what they are. Then your mind can rest until the next rain storm....;o)

Ha haaa.... suckered me in. I've been hearing mostly praise for this unit. I though geez now what's this about? :)

Sounds like a good time to learn how to use the GPS functions. I would mark them with waypoints. Take the CTX home map them and then when you get some rain come back.
