V3i problems?

Am truly happy the falsing problem is solved. You are in for a lot of new experiences and fun now. BTW, if your area is not highly mineralized and your intent is deep relic hunting, I would go for White's V rated 12" concentric before a SEF coil. If some of your sites have a lot of trash targets, a White's V rated 6x10 is a good separator and great all-around coil.

Take is slow and best of luck.

Shopping on line OK, a GOOD dealer, priceless.

I actually bought a whites' 6x10 coil when I was there. I told them I felt guilty that I didnt' buy the detector from them! They were great though and we joked about it.

I suspect you are going to really enjoy that 6x10 coil.

Good point Magic,

Invisible dog fences will ruin a hunt no matter what detector you are using. I believe most any electric fence can be a problem but I know that invisible fences are a problem that can only be solved by turning the fence off... and you sometimes don't know it is there but it is a good thing to keep in mind if you're hunting somewhere and are getting some abnormal EMI... look sings of dogs and no fence. If you can't get it turned off you may as well leave.
unless you have a very high tolerance for irritation.

jeffery71,

Did you get your falsing issue resolved?

I too get falsing with the D2 coil, but not everywhere that I hunt.

In my case it seems to be related to the international airport, even though I'm hunting about 15 miles from the actual airport.
Seems like the when the aircraft are taking off toward my location, I get a constant barrage of false signals.

Anyone with aeronautical knowledge, please feel free to comment.
