V3i for Prospecting?

Been awhile since I did any prospecting - after reading some replies here, guess I'll try out my V3i for some prospecting after the rains get going.
Would like to see more success post's using the V3i prospecting, ground condition and and setting tweaks, what the display numbers show etc.
I have the stock and 4x6 shooter coils.

Would the V3 perform just as well when prospecting also.I am buying one and might use it for prospecting but have gold bug pro and infinium.
I do like a auto ground traking when prospecting but its more hotrocks in my area that are bothersome.

I remember my dealer in Colorado telling that the V3 was designed to perform as well as the MXT when prospecting. If this was a true statement then if the MXT is a good prospecting machine so is the V3
