V3i Factory pre-set question

Love the V3i. As I was looking through the owners manual I noticed that the charts with the factory pre-set program numbers were different from the settings stored in the detector. Why the difference? Thanks in advance.
 
There would be no reason. It has been so long since I have seen factory program I don't which ones you mean. Set it the way you want for your conditions.[attachment 218824 Untitled-1.jpg]
