V3i Book?

No Jeff never wrote the book. By now the questions have pretty much all be asked and answered.

I know I would enjoy a book about the V3i to better understand the theory behind different settings and mineralization and things of the like.

The MXT for all purposes had 2 main adjustments and 3 modes. Most guys hunted in one mode. Yet there was a whole detailed book written. My guess is that with over 160 adjustments on the V that the author decided a book was just too much of a challenge.

I think you are right Rob. Although I am new to the hobby, I can still appreciate what a fantastic amount of customization that the V3i offers.

Actually I guy needs a book that explains general detector principals, RX, boost, etc. these are the same for all detectors. Then a person needs an understanding of mineralization, masking, etc. these also pertain to all detectors.

The information is there just not all in one place.

There is a good project for you Rob, "The Art of the Hunt"

Bells and whistles are nice and fun but nothing substitutes for the basic understanding of the hobby.

Hey, I like that saying.....:clapping:....I think I have a new signature.

Yep, I could get them printed and send you an autographed copy. Then I could use the rest for campfire starters.

All jokes assure Rob you and carl at whites should colaberate on a fundinentals book for h2o but could sadly translate to all fly detectors. Really think about it. It would sell like freaking hot cakes across brand lines and so many of us with a deep desire to grisly understand our detectors in layman. Terms. I would buy one for me and my son to study. Why don't u pray about really leaving ur mark as the man who opened the manic window.......jeremi
