V3 vs VX3

If one was looking for one of these detectors is it worth the extra dollars to just go ahead and get the V3 or does the VX3 get the job done for less?

It boils down to what features you want or don't want. Here is a chart to compare what each unit has. http://www.findmall.com/read.php?66,1497249

When I got my detector I was going to get the VX3 but I went with the V3i my thinking was if I got the VX3 and after a year I wanted it to do more then I would have to upgrade to the V3i so if you can get the V3i get it and don't look back. :twodetecting::whites::thumbup:

Food for thought.......... you can make a V3i work like a VX3 but you can not make a VX3 work like a V3i. Just because the V3i has a lot more adjustments doesn't mean you have to use them. (But they are nice when you need them)

so if you buy the V3I you get two detectors for the price of one...:clapping:
