V3 upgrade

I hear the upgrade for V3's after november is free except for the shipping. Can anyone that has the upgrade tell me if this is true, and do they upgrade the decals on the control box to read V3i.

Butch got the first part correct.

We plan to put an "i" label on the detector. Don't think these are ready yet.

The V3 on the box is silk screened not a decal. They can put a i decal next to it. What are they going to do with the Visions, hopefully nothing.Or may be you will get a new box. Fred
 
Got a call 2 days ago from a Navy bud in the U.A.E stating that a friend of ours was training out a V3i.2 that had GPS. I'm not sure how this could be helpful.
