V3 question

Old Katz

New member
I've been looking over the materials at Whites regarding the
V3. I can see why it's so expensive.

Question: The learning curve for the MXT was a piece of cake. What about the V3?
It looks like there is a lot to learn!

The features offered with the V3 sound exceptional. I like the idea of three frequencies.

Learning how to use the V3 can be as little as a few hours. Learning how to master the V3 could be years.

Many have reported great results right out of the box with the factory programs, but the V3 has lots to offer. Much of that will never be used by the majority of the users, IMHO. Still there is a lot to know to get the best from the beast.

Ease of use/with shorter learning curve, to good finds in the pouch... the MXT is incredible. For me, the dream combo would be to have both.

I've been talking with a dealer about a V3. Is $1300.00, with the wireless headphones a good price these days. When your up here in this price range, it has a lot of good competition from other top of the line brands.

Thanks

Well is that's your price with the headphones I paid $1700 the detector is like no other detector on the market except there are a lot more combinations to be used in finding with your looking for. It isn't really that bad I consider myself out of the box type of hunter and already my finds far and exceed anything I've put together with the DFX. I'd like to learn more and most folks here have been very helpful in sharing what they have learned big bonus for me I didnt get that with the DFX I got dont tell, dont touch, and dont find.

I like the Vision and am happy I made the trade.....

>>V3. Is $1300.00, with the wireless headphones<<

That is a GOOD price for a NEW unit ! ! !

Good Luck

Jerry

I'm sorry you didn't get the help you needed with the DFX, I don't remember you ever being on the DFX Classoom Forum that I also moderate.
