V3 and DX-1 Mounting.

txrpls

New member
Since mounting my DX-1 on my V3, I can no longer slide the shaft up into the handle and fit the detector into the White' Bag. I know I can remove the shaft, but this seems like a sloppy solution. Does anyone have any suggestions on a longer/better bag?

Thanks,
Mark

I use just one mounting lug on the shaft instead of two, but I don't bag my detector either. That might give you enough room. SunRay also makes a mounting kit to mount the probe on the box instead of the shaft.

Mark,

Another alternative is the velcroed clips that we make for the Fisher and some Garret series in-line probes. The Velcro holds the clip on the rod and eliminates the need for the nylon bolts and nuts. They are 12.00 (bag of 2) + S&H.
