V-Rated Coils List?

Ones that I can think of .....10dd...9.50....6x10....5.3.....4x6 - from whites. Aftermarket coils I'm not sure of.....10x12 sef - 6x8 sef????? Hope that helps....gl and hh!!

Also, the White's 300 (12 inch coil) is V rated. Although not V rated, I have used my old 14" DD on my V3i with good results. It functioned perfectly.

The 1400 Whites coil is not V rated.

Rob, I didn't say that the 14 DD was V rated, I said that mine works on my V3i. Not at all unlike some of the "off-brand" coils that are used and discussed that are not V rated. :beers:

Never said you did. You didn't say it was not V rated so I did. If he needs a list he probably wouldn't know this.

Rob, it's no big deal, but I did say : "Although NOT V rated..." . I would NEVER intentionally mislead in one of my posts. I merely thought that it would be food for thought for the OP and others who are curious about the possible compatibility of various coils with the V series of detectors. And of course, this is only my input based on my experience with my equipment. Happy Hunting my friend!

My understanding was the reason the 1400 was not v rated was because the D2 has approximately the same performance with less weight. Of course the 1400 has more coverage. I always say there is no one best coil and use what works for you.
