I just purchased the Deus 2 (Thanks Bart @ Big Boy Hobbies), it is arriving tomorrow. My question, that 8ft antenna wire that runs from the control box and clips to the coil. If I detect the wet sand without using the antenna and the coil sometimes is briefly covered by the water will I miss targets? When I detect the wet I try not to get my feet wet I detect right at the water line can I effectively detect without the antenna?
