used v3i?

Have an opportunity to purchase a used v3i for $850. No wireless headphones. About two years old with only about 15 hours on the machine. Owner says he doesn't get out enough. I don't believe there would be any warranty left on it. Says it works great and had no problems with the machine. Only problem is I can't try it because it is clear across the US. Is this a good idea? Opinions needed. Thanks.

Where is it listed? I've had good luck and prices on our classifieds. On our classifieds if there is a worry we can get guys to vouch for us.

White's customer service is the best if you would have problems if any They will help you White's detectors are build to last .

I don't think it's high at all when you consider Whites customer service low basement prices to entirely revamp a V3i if there is any problems. martin

yup. I got my V3i for about the same price, a bit more use, but no WHP and just a couple of months of warranty left for $825. I literally jumped on it when I saw the price the dealer had it listed for. I would've still jumped even if there was no warranty, as White's has amazing CS and what, less than $200 if there was a serious problem to fix if out of warranty? it was a no brainer for me.

I am going to buy the v3i for $850. Prices I have seen for used with more use are still higher. Have to keep watch for a descent price on Wireless HeadPhones to go with it. Thanks for the advice.

You might find a dealer who has a Christmas coupon on the wireles HPs to cut a great deal. I had one but lost the booklet. That's what I would try. I think it was like a hundred off, but could be wrong. martin

This is the coupon book that expired Jan 13th but a coupon is not really needed. Check with dealers who have the headphones in stock that they bought at the sale price, I'm sure you will find some. $199 is a good price.
