:usaflag:I went to use my Pro-pointer today and it would'nt turn on. The on/off button felt different and I could hear "loose change" inside the unit. I contacted Garrett and got an address to ship it to for fixin'. I sent it priority mail too..I don't screw around. Hope it's under warranty..the guy on the phone said it should be. What am I going to do without it? I feel lost.
 
:usaflag:Yes...we are very spoiled. Although it's kind of fun (and frustrating) waving a handful of dirt in front of the coil. But I will be happy when I have it back. That would be very generous if they sent me a new unit, but I did'nt ship the holster that came with mine...so it would be fine if I did'nt get a new one of those.
 
They'll most likely replace it warranty or not. They are pretty good about that. A happy customer is a faithful customer.
