:usaflag:I went and hit my favorite city lot after work..but decided to try a small area about 20 X 20 feet away from the usual clad bonanza that I have been chipping away at. Found a pocket knife..have'nt cleaned it but it definately won't open anyways. More clad coins..a spent rifle round. And...what is that???? By golly it's another Buffalo !!!! 1936 this time !! That got the blood flowing again I'll tell you what ! Also found a gold plated? thingy shaped like a bulls head..and the back part of it...it's hollow. Not sure if it's gold or not...have'nt cleaned it..or anything else yet. Good day in my book..:detecting:

Alright!:bouncy:Nice hunt!:clapping:Congrats on the Buff!:cheers:WTG!:thumbup:Thanks for sharing!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

McDave you had a great hunt. Buffalo nickel and buffalo head. What more can you ask for.
You have to really love that Ace 250. It's a great machine. Someday you may want to invest into the Excellior 10" x 14" coil.
Great for open fields and ocean beaches. But until then keep having fun..

Happy Hunting

Nicely done on that nickel. I've only found one buffalo nickel in the last 4 years.
The Ace is a nice little machine isn't it. I trade off depending on my mood. Sometimes I
use the Ace and then later go back over the same area with my MXT and find what I missed the
first time.
