One of the beaches I hunt has been a favorite spot for Connecticut residents for more than two hundred years and is most certainly hiding many treasures.

At the bottom of a wash-out a couple of yards from the water

WoW !!! :clapping::surprised::clapping: Way to go bro !!!

Hi D,

It is still unknown if this is a diamond or not (it has a blue tent), but the very old 14K setting is a plus in the equation.

I have four of Clive's books and have learned from each of them some valuable bit of information that I hadn't seen elsewhere.

Two of the books are about PI detectors and two are Excal related, all good reads and filled with useful info!

Thanks for your reply,

CJ

Thanks for the reply CJ
Given the old style setting I'm sure it will be the real thing.

A Friend and Fellow Hunter tells me that he has recovered several similar rings from the same era and they all had glass seettings!

Awesome find! Congrats. I 2nd your review of Clive's books. I have an excaliber & a headhunter pulse but I buy all of Clive's book and always learn a wealth of practical knowledge.

Even if the stone turns out to be glass , that ring is an awesome find ! Any way to tell what year that style/design of ring might have been made? Deff old. very nice.
