UPDATE: Pocket watch, re: Centuries-old farm finds

In my earlier subject post, I'd shown a pocket watch that I found. A few suggested that it might not be plated, so I took the watch to a jeweler to get it evaluated. The verdict: it is 10k gold. The jeweler estimates the gold content to be ~3/4 ounce. While there is some modest monetary value in it, I intend to just clean it up a bit more and keep it in my collection. I appreciate everyone's earlier input that lead me to have it assessed!
