Hunting a permission on a 1947 house we found almost NO modern coins! We did find maybe 75 wheats, 7 buffs, 9 war nickels, 4 rosies, 4 mercs and 2 walkers and a small silver heart and a large silver cross.. In one hole I had a '42 walker, 4 war nickels (two 42's, a 43 and a 45) a 39 wheat and a 1915 English penny! I have to think that was a drop in '45-'46!

That's one of those one out of 57 permissions properties. Nice finds!

Love them Walkers....beautiful coin Ive only ever found 1 Walker at a time. You hit a Home Run with 2 !!!!

A lot of history just in that one coin spill. A US soldier returning from World War II having served in the European theater and losing it all in the dumping of a pocket. That is a snapshot in time find. Congrats on the great permission and hunt.
