using the sniper coil in a competition hunt? I've been really flying with mine and have been thinking about a video called the "Flying Ace". I got to reading about the "slow response" of the Ace so I took a nickel and drew back the Ace like a golf club and tried my hardest to swing it past the nickel with no response-it got louder! After that, I've been knocking down the tot lots in much less time and it STILL hits the teeniest pieces of foil, etc.

LOL... I would have loved to seen you swinging your detector like a golf club......

the fast response time isn't the machines ability to catch a target at the speed of light swing of the coil, it is placing two metal objects close together and having the machine correctly identify one object and then do the same to another object,
That is the definition of fast response time.

Yeah, I understand that. What I did was use the Relics mode and STILL it hits two separate targets with two different tones, although sort of blended together. I also tested it against my Silver umax and could hardly notice any difference in response time on an iron nail next to a coin as I slowly spread them out. I also realize this is maybe not quite a fair test, as the 5.75" coil is larger. And no:crylol:, I was not swinging it like a golf club at the tot lots:lmfao:, but I was movin' along. I just like the fact that it's fast enough that I don't have to put on the larger coil as I love the sniper coil. Viva la Relics mode.

Haven't heard of it but don't know why it wouldn't work except for lack of coverage. I've always spoke of the rapid response and recovery of the 250 and that it's practically impossible to swing it too fast too miss a target.
