Unable to Update software Deus2

Hello Deus 2 users -

I recently encountered a “hiccup” when attempting to update my RC on my laptop to the latest software version update (screen shot below) -error and I need to contact “reseller.” Has anyone wide experienced this issue attempting to update RC with the latest Deus2 software ? I may reach out to XP Gary Blackwell in UK for guidance . Thanks

Hey Coin, If you haven’t I might try deleting the update application then reload it again and see if it works. TC, DW

CW . . . How many times did you try updating? I believe it downloads on your computer then to your remote. Don't hold me to that because I'm not too bright about all this computer mumbo jumbo . . .I struggle.

Steve you are right about computer mumbo jumbo. When I became a "ham" back in 1961 I could build transmitters and receivers, some from scratch, some from kits. I could see the tubes glow and I knew enough to know what they were doing. Enter transistors/integrated circuits. I could not see a tube glow so I entered another world, a world I did not like. Anyway I accidentally touched the wrong buttons on my Roku remote. I was in Youtube at the time. Somehow I got a computer generated voice telling me verbally what I didn't want to hear. That "woman" had the most irritating voice I have ever heard. After an hour I still could not get rid of "it", Luckily that night my 16 year old grandson comes in with two buddies to shoot feral hogs. Less than a minute later I was saved. Thank God for teenagers. Never trust an electron.

The biggest problem folks have had is NOT using the correct USB port. The software requires minimum USB2 and preferably USB3. The USB port to use should be blue.

The thing that trips me up is using the "three headed" USB cord to try and update the puck.

I did it twice for the D1 and twice for the D2 now.



I always feel stupid every time I have to relearn this.

The short chord is for updating the ear-puck. The three headed monster is for charging everything & updating the remote. . . .hope I have this right.
