ultimate 13inch coil

Does anyone know if these coils are waterproof or are they just water resistant ? Thanks for the information Ezra.

They are waterproof. I've used one 3-4' under water without any issues.

Everything that I have read and or heard about the 13" Ultimate says that it is water resistant. So did the paperwork I got with mine when I purchased it. How deep one would have to submerge it to get it to leak I do not know.

I've had mine 2-3' under without any problem. Love this coil it's very lightweight for is size!

Unscrew the connector by the coil and put some silicone in there !...and screw back on.

mascard 1, Thanks for that idea I think will give that a try.Bought that coil for my explorer to use at the beach occasionally but its mostly gonna be used in farm fields Thanks Ezra
