I am thinking of the Fisher 1280x but if the discrimination is going to be set low then I am wondering if a P.I. would be just as good or better. Also what coil size would be the best for fresh water hunting the 8 or 10.1/2? I of course want the deep rings but would like to get the chains as well, or is it one or the other. your thoughts appreciated, Jeff
