"Turn On and Go" Programs - How About It?

What have been your experiences with the "turn on and go" settings of the V3? Does the unit seem to do better than say, the turn on and go programs of the DFX? Or any other detector that you may previously have owned.

I currently own an MXT and have owned a DFX in the past but frankly, I got tired of scrolling through all the programs and also wasn't pleased with the depth I was obtaining with it.

Thanks for your time posting your comments. They are valuable to folks like myself who are considering purchasing the V3.

I find the "stock" programs to work well.

I did adjust sound to my likings.

I did adjust RX (Pre Amp Gain on the DFX) to my needs.

I pass up targets that are too big for a coin (aluminum can).

I am still learning.

Jerry - thanks so much for your speedy response. How do you set it up to ignore larger size objects such as an aluminum can? Are you interpreting the size data from the width of the sine waves?

Well let me start with my Whites Eagle II SL 90 , I Love on the fly controls the Eagle has 14 buttons right up front
thouth 4R some people she is Like a Chines Puzzle 4R me a sinch, this is why wen the XLT came out she was Dropped Like a Hot Potato LETS HEAR IT FOR THE EAGLE !!!!!!! I had a XLT off N on , And a DFX off N on,
XLT more and i know what you wean Going throutg Programs??? The DFX dident Lock on a VDI,
The Vision.s 10 Programs wear well thoutht out N work well , I Hunt in Hi Pro with the Trigger Forward in Analyse screen , Go to Analysis N up your Recovery speed, She can tell Rings from tabs, O The Navigation is so Easy,
I have the V that sese "Vision" My Detectors the Vision / Eagle II SL 90 / N 4R water Whites Stopped makeing a good water VLF Disc unit Dont know whay???? Love my Tasoro Tiger Shark, Hope this helps, Mickfin,

I did dig a small target that VID at 6 or 8...turned out to be a pencil eraser :-( Just had to know.
