Tuesday relics.

Went detecting today with Nate’s metal detecting from on here on findmall. We had a decent day. I found a carved bullet and several pieces of carved bullets within a few yards. The carved billet is on top left and then I have a picture from the top of it. You can see what looks like lines and a star Also found a 1902 v nickel on another part of the field and a 1941 wheat. There used to be a old homesite on this farm. But several hundred yards from where we were detecting today. Also found a what’s it. The three ringer in smashed a little on the bottom. Found a buckle also. This field is just one property over from where I found the gold coin last year.not sure what the bottom right picture is.

Nice hunt 7. Carved bullets and looks to me like a Knapp sack buckle. i believe those troops were there for a spell when you find carved lead.
I think it’s awesome you put your trash pile in the spotlight too. It’s all part of the hunt.right on!

Yeah I use to put the trash pile on a lot of my post. So many times people new to the hobby see our finds and think we don’t dig trash. Believe me I dig trash.
