TTF and depth........

Ray-Mo.

Active member
I have been reading several comments on this and other forums claiming TTF does not give very good depth compared to conductive settings.I tested my E-Trac in coin garden and it will hit and id my 9" deep silver dime quite well and equal to my conductive set up.Have any of you all done any actual in ground tests/comparisons?
I have noticed smaller targets will go to a low tone/grunt at the very fringe of depths....

That's very interesting Ray I will have to give that a try, because most of my Indians are coming out in the 5 to 7 inch range. That Would be awesome to know that TTF will hit and ID a 9 inch silver dime. Thanks
